Open Learning Space was created by two experienced speaker/trainers: Helen Mac CSP and Scott Stein CSP. They both believe in the power of collaboration and connection. Open Learning Space is a real-world delivery of that belief.

With over 40 years of combined expertise between them, Helen and Scott have run a National RTO for more than a decade delivering in excess of 300 training days a year. They understand the benefit of leveraging Intellectual Property and have been doing so, through their network of trainers, for clients around the globe, particularly in the Asia Pacific rim.

Open Learning Space was initially developed in response to client requests for delivery of key training messages, without their workforce having to leave the office. The resulting online learning centre now provides over 60 courses, 24/7 with tailored programs for various department and access levels. This platform has been adapted for Open Learning Space for use by trainers and speakers, all over the world, who are looking for a solution to the "exchanging time for money" dilemma

The Founders:

Helen Mac CSP

Helen Mac is Australia's Corporate Optimist who has squeezed all she has learned from over 25 years of research and experience in organisational behaviour, performance improvement and motivation, to create The Juiced Up Principles.

She has drawn on expertise collected from speaking in 11 countries to thousands of people in all kinds of roles, from blue collar to senior executive. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Helen brings a depth of knowledge to her presentations. She is a Certified Speaking Professional and a Past National President of the National Speakers Association of Australia. She is the only person to have received, from the Victorian Chapter of the Association, the full complement of their awards in a four year period – New Speaker of the Year; Mentor of the Year; Speaker of the Year and Golden Mike.

Helen has designed, customized and delivered presentations and training sessions for a wide client base, from both large and small corporate organizations to state and local governments. With her key clients, Helen focuses on improving employee performance and showing managers how to create workplaces in which people are encouraged to do their very best. Over the past twelve years, she has also had a significant role in the design and delivery of a customer service program for a major automotive manufacturer involving thousands of their retail sales and service personnel.

As the Pathfinder, Scott Stein inspires individuals and teams to reconnect with their instinctive purpose in life and to unleash their full potential.

Drawing on his own Native American heritage, Scott applies ancient wisdom to help amplify and motivate people. As a speaker, trainer and coach, he has already inspired and challenged thousands of senior executives and business owners whose personal ambitions had been stifled by societal or work pressures, and helped them to reconnect with their true path.

Scott is renowned for his inspirational style. He uses his refreshingly 'authentic' approach to get participants to check whether or not they are 'on path' at work and at home.

Taking his desire to help people one step further, Scott is also a board member of the charity Hands Across the Water, which provides assistance to children in Thailand who lost their families in the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami.

Scott applies his ancestral wisdom together with academic learning to help people cut through information overload. He holds a masters degree in communication and is a certified trainer (TAA 04) and Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). He is a published author and has given more than 800 presentations to date. He has coached over 1,200 managers, helping them to learn how to inspire the people around them to improve performance and achieve greater fulfillment.
